和記電訊與蘋果攜手於七月十一日在香港推出iPhone™3G

香港，二○○八年六月十日 – 和記電訊國際有限公司（「和記電訊」; SEHK:2332; NYSE:HTX）今天與蘋果宣佈，將在七月十一日於香港推出萬眾期待的iPhone™ 3G；澳門將緊隨其後。iPhone™ 3G揉合iPhone™所有革命性功能，配合3G網絡，其瀏覽速度將較第一代iPhone™快一倍*。iPhone™ 3G更內置全球衛星定位系統，以提供增強定位流動通訊服務；而iPhone™ 2.0軟件更包括可支援Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync，及數以百計根據最近發放的iPhone™ SDK而開發的第三者應用方案。

和記電訊行政總裁呂博聞表示：「我們很高興能夥拍蘋果，成為首家於大中華區推出 iPhone™ 3G的網絡商，彰顯我們於區內牽領3G及流動數據發展的市場領導地位。我們的客戶熱衷於多媒體內容及流動互聯網，他們定將大大受惠於此項革命性手機，感受 前所未有的通訊及資訊娛樂新體驗。」

和記電訊將於七月十一日，透過其於香港的先進高速下行分組接入網絡﹝HSDPA﹞推出 iPhone™ 3G；屆時，該手機更會配備中文選項功能。
